Permanent Makeup
How does permanent makeup differ from tattooing?
While the machine and ink used are the same as for tattooing, the needle is inserted less deeply into the skin during the permanent makeup procedure than a “normal” tattoo. This method allows the ink to fade 30% to 40% during healing, which will leave a natural, gentle effect on the skin that lasts for approximately 2 to 3 years.

Microblading vs.Microshading
For microblading, individual strokes are cut into the skin manually with a blade dipped in ink to give the appearance of hairs.
For ombre brows (also called microshading), ink is tattooed into the skin using a machine to give the appearance of having applied powder makeup to fill in the brows. Everything will be done in gradient; darker at the tip (tail) of the eyebrow and increasingly lighter towards the front.
What should I do to prepare for a permanent makeup appointment?
For all services (freckles, ombré eyebrows, lip blush): Stop applying active ingredients (retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, etc.) to the face a minimum of two weeks before the appointment.
Do not wax or shave the face near the area to be tattooed for two weeks before the appointment.
Do not do facial peeling for a month before the appointment. Moisturize the area to be tattooed well.
Do not consume alcohol or caffeine 24 to 48 hours before the appointment (caffeine and alcohol can affect your pain tolerance as well as bleeding and ink retention)
Do not dye or bleach eyebrows for one month before the appointment.
